Amazi / Globe's Scout - Produced 5 males and 3 females. Scout was owned by Ginny and Nelda Vaugh of Globe Kennels, named after the theatre made famous by Shakespeare. To pay tribute to the ladies that have done so much for the breed, most of the dogs are named after Shakespearean plays. The second theme of dreaming came to be because January 15 was Martin Luther King's birthday. "Dice" Ukukhanya's Midsummernight's Dream went to Belgium and became the foundation bitch for Dorthy McGoldrick's Villagedog Kennels. Coefficient of inbreeding with 10 generations calculated = 6.7%

UKUKHANYA COMEDY OF ERRORS - JACK: When Amazi was pregnant friends would ask, "How is the litter coming?” I would reply that I could not give them an answer until all the pups were born and I had counted fingers and toes. It seems that God has a sense of humor and had heard me because as I was counting Jack’s toes I noticed that he was missing one. Hence the name Jack from Three-toed-Jack.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

We attribute Jack's lack of a hind toe to drugs Amazi had to take while pregnant. His lack of digit however, has not slowed him down a bit. He hikes and competes in obedience and never misses a step.

He once lived with his sister "Mini Mazi" in California. That couple relocated to Idaho and decided to give Jack up. Unfortunately, once Jack left, Mini-Amazi had no one to play with. She got loose on the 4th of July and was likely hit by a car and killed.

Jack, however, was blessed and lives with a terrific human, named Brian, in Colorado.
